My new Hobby???
So I have been taking a quilting class through the Relief Society in my ward. This is the result after 2 classes. I have my last class tonight so stay tuned for the finished project. I was amazed it turned out this well considering this is my first real attempt at sewing, and when it started out it was just hundreds of little squares. Don't look too close you will realize it doesn't totally match up.

I am so impressed! I wish my RS would do a class like that...I totally want to learn. I like your new blog template--is it in honor of Spud Harvest?
I am throughly impressed!!!
Great job!!! I am way impressed. That is pretty technical stuff. What a great class to have! Wish our RS would do something...ANYTHING!!!!
Hey Melissa that turned out great. Way to go!!!
Melissa that turned out really nice. That is amazing that this is your first time really sewing. I really like the quilt pattern that you are doing. I can't wait to see the finished project.
hey melissa - jamie found me through michelle mendenhalls blog and when i checked out jamie's, i found you. your kids are so cute. preslee looks like a mini you. i barely started into this blogging thing, but it's fun. i've found so many people i haven't heard from since high school. it looks like you're super mom with even sometime to be domestic :-) just thought i'd say hello. anneliese
Impressive! It looks like a great class.
Love it!! I would love to do something like that in my RS. Looks like fun!
I love the quilt. That pattern is very difficult to get all the places to match up. Enjoy the journery. Remember that your quiltig is like your kids walking - they don't run across the room the first time they try (thanks heavens!).
